Today our team joined Partners in Project Green\u2019s tree planting event at Gore Meadows in Brampton \u2013 and the rainy weather made it ideal for the trees to take root!<\/p>\n
We were proudly represented by 10 Polaris colleagues who spent the morning planting a variety of native trees and shrubs alongside other PPG members. Guided by the Toronto and Region Conservation Authority\u2019s Restoration team, we also learned about the ongoing stewardship of these forests.<\/p>\n
Tree planting is more than just putting a shovel in the ground; it\u2019s about giving back to nature, creating cleaner air, removing carbon from the atmosphere and building resilience against climate challenges like flooding and extreme heat.<\/p>\n
