On Saturday, July 13th<\/sup>\u00a0we held our 3rd\u00a0annual Polaris\u00a0Summer\u00a0Event\u00a0at the Caledon Fairgrounds. Our team and their families gathered to enjoy a day filled with tasty food, fun activities and entertainment. We hosted a magic show for the kids, bingo with prizes, baseball, cricket and of course the pie eating contest! This year was extra special as we all got to come together and celebrate Polaris\u2019 30th<\/sup>\u00a0anniversary.<\/p>\n

Polaris executives even braved a few rounds of pie in the face for a good cause! CEO, Dave Cox and President, Richard Kunow participated in our pie throwing contest to raise funds for our community. We are proud to announce that we successfully raised over $800 from our pie throwing, bingo and raffle ticket sales that will go toward Haven, Victim Services of Blue Grey Perth and Mississauga Animal Services!<\/p>\n

We also are grateful for the food donations that were given to the Community Care Unit at this year\u2019s event. Thanks to our team\u2019s generosity, we collected 539lbs of essential food items that will go toward the Caledon Community Services.<\/p>\n

A big thank you goes to our wonderful Human Resources department and all the volunteers who made this year\u2019s Summer Event such a hit! We\u2019d also like to thank everyone who joined us in creating more memories and giving back to our community as a Polaris family!<\/p>\n
