POLARIS SIGNS WEPs TO EMPOWER WOMEN IN THE WORKPLACE

As a company with a longstanding commitment to gender equality, we are proud to announce that we recently signed the Women’s Empowerment Principles (WEPs). This milestone builds on our ongoing efforts to foster an inclusive and equitable workplace, advancing our gender equality practices to new levels.

The Women’s Empowerment Principles is a global initiative established by the UN Global Compact and UN Women providing companies with comprehensive guidelines for empowering women in the workplace, marketplace and community. These principles focus on key areas such as leadership, equal opportunity, workplace safety, education and training as well as supply chain practices. They serve as a strategic framework for promoting gender equality across all aspects of our operations.

With over 50% of our leadership team comprised of women, Polaris has made significant strides in breaking gender barriers in a traditionally male-dominated industry. We are proud to uphold pay equity and enforce strict policies to prevent workplace harassment and violence. Polaris CEO, Dave Cox comments, “This isn’t the beginning of our gender equality journey—it’s a step that will take us even higher.
