To celebrate Earth Day, our team joined Partners in Project Green’s Sustainable Urban Agriculture Tour & Workshop at Zawadi Farm.
Hosted by the inspiring Farmer Jessey Njau, the event featured a guided farm tour and a hands-on seed starting session, reminding us of the power of community, sustainability and nurturing growth from the ground up.
Located in the heart of Toronto in Downsview Park, Zawadi Farm is a beacon of sustainability and empowerment, working to motivate future generations to care deeply about the environment, healthy food and strong, connected communities.
Our Polaris team, Mary, Milan, Mo, and CEO, Dave Cox, truly enjoyed their experience of learning about the impactful work being done at Zawadi Farm. We’re proud to be part of this Earth Day initiative and remain committed to cultivating change through our values, actions and community partnerships.
