PLANTING TREES TO PROTECT OUR PLANET

Today our team joined Partners in Project Green’s tree planting event at Gore Meadows in Brampton – and the rainy weather made it ideal for the trees to take root!

We were proudly represented by 10 Polaris colleagues who spent the morning planting a variety of native trees and shrubs alongside other PPG members. Guided by the Toronto and Region Conservation Authority’s Restoration team, we also learned about the ongoing stewardship of these forests.

Tree planting is more than just putting a shovel in the ground; it’s about giving back to nature, creating cleaner air, removing carbon from the atmosphere and building resilience against climate challenges like flooding and extreme heat.
