COMING TOGETHER, GIVING BACK & CELEBRATING 30 YEARS AT POLARIS’ ANNUAL SUMMER EVENT

On Saturday, July 13th we held our 3rd annual Polaris Summer Event at the Caledon Fairgrounds. Our team and their families gathered to enjoy a day filled with tasty food, fun activities and entertainment. We hosted a magic show for the kids, bingo with prizes, baseball, cricket and of course the pie eating contest! This year was extra special as we all got to come together and celebrate Polaris’ 30th anniversary.
Polaris executives even braved a few rounds of pie in the face for a good cause! CEO, Dave Cox and President, Richard Kunow participated in our pie throwing contest to raise funds for our community. We are proud to announce that we successfully raised over $800 from our pie throwing, bingo and raffle ticket sales that will go toward Haven, Victim Services of Blue Grey Perth and Mississauga Animal Services!
We also are grateful for the food donations that were given to the Community Care Unit at this year’s event. Thanks to our team’s generosity, we collected 539lbs of essential food items that will go toward the Caledon Community Services.
A big thank you goes to our wonderful Human Resources department and all the volunteers who made this year’s Summer Event such a hit! We’d also like to thank everyone who joined us in creating more memories and giving back to our community as a Polaris family!
