Polaris Among 14 Fleets to Launch Women’s Leadership Accord

For our achievements in creating a welcoming workplace for women in transportation, Polaris was selected as one of the 14 inaugural organizations to form the Women’s Leadership Accord. A special ceremony to launch this important initiative was held at this year’s Women with Drive Leadership summit.

Led by Trucking HR Canada and the Women’s Trucking Federation of Canada and supported by Women and Gender Equality Canada, the Women’s Leadership Accord supports and recognizes transportation companies that are making our industry a more inviting space for women. We look forward to accessing their tools and resources to further help us empower and uplift women on our team so they can thrive in our industry.

We are honoured to be chosen among fellow leaders promoting gender equality in transportation. During the ceremony, Polaris also received the Women’s Leadership Accord Certificate of Excellence, commending our company-wide practices that have helped us attract and retain strong female talent with half of our leadership team comprised of women.
