WINNERS OF THE FIRST EVER KWE PARTNER CARRIER OF THE YEAR AWARD

Yesterday, we were honoured to receive the Kintetsu World Express’ (KWE) Global Logistics Partner Award as a 2023 Partner Carrier of the Year! This is the first time KWE has ever given this award and they chose Polaris for our exemplary service and commitment to customer satisfaction.

The Partner Carrier of the Year award was presented to Polaris CEO, Dave Cox by the Vice President of KWE’s Surface Logistics division, Paul Murray and Operations Manager, Kwesi Klass. Paul highlighted that this award was given to Polaris for our outstanding service, advanced technology and community outreach efforts. They wanted to recognize partners like us who share their values and dedication to excellence.

L’ASFC SOULIGNE LE TRAVAIL DE POLARIS EN LUI REMETTANT LE PRIX D’EXCELLENCE EN SÉCURITÉ À LA FRONTIÈRE

Pour son attention à la sécurité et à la sécurité en tant que professionnels du transport transfrontalier (#CrossBorderPros), Polaris s’est vu décerner le Prix d’excellence 2024 de l’Agence des services frontaliers du Canada!

Le chef de la direction de Polaris, Dave Cox et son président, Richard Kunow, étaient ravis de recevoir ce prix inattendu alors qu’ils rendaient visite à nos partenaires de l’ASFC. Depuis ses débuts à l’aide d’un unique camion en 1994, la sécurité a toujours fait partie des principes de base de Polaris. En tant que membres du programme PEP (Partenaires en protection), nous dépassons les normes de l’industrie en établissant des protocoles pour transporter des marchandises avec précaution, tous les jours, de part et d’autre de la frontière entre le Canada et les États-Unis.

CBSA RECOGNIZES POLARIS WITH THE EXCELLENCE IN BORDER SECURITY AWARD

For our dedication to safety and security as #CrossBorderPros, Polaris has been honoured with the CBSA’s 2024 Excellence in Border Security Award! 

 Polaris CEO, Dave Cox and President, Richard Kunow were thrilled to receive this award unexpectedly while visiting our partners at the CBSA. We are proud to accept this as it highlights our outstanding commitment to supply chain security and protecting the health and safety of all Canadians.

 Since beginning with just one truck in 1994, safety has been embedded into Polaris’ foundation. As members of Partners in Protection (PIP), we have gone beyond industry standards to establish protocols for carefully transporting goods across the Canadian and USA border every day.

 Polaris CEO, Dave Cox comments, “On top of being a transportation and logistics company, we’re a security company. Through innovation and participation with border groups like the CBSA, we eliminate gaps in our clients’ freight security and keep their goods flowing across the border.”

POLARIS’ LESLEY VELDSTRA KILLINGSWORTH WINS ESTEEMED PROS TO KNOW AWARD

Polaris is celebrating the news that our VP of Pricing and Market Strategy, Lesley Veldstra Killingsworth has received the Supply & Demand Chain Executive 2024 Pros to Know Award!

Categorized as a Lifetime Achievement, the Pros to Know Award is given to influential transportation executives who are advocating to create safer, more efficient North American supply chains. Lesley was announced as one of this year’s winners at the MODEX 2024 summit in Atlanta, Georgia. This triumph is being celebrated by the Polaris team as well as her peers at the NMFTA.

“Lesley has been instrumental in transforming and initiating necessary changes to improve NMFTA’s products, procedures and research,” states previous NMFTA chairman, Mike Morgan, “We couldn’t be more proud as she’s made significant contributions to the supply chain industry overall.”

In the past year, Lesley made history as the NFMTA’s first appointed Chairwoman and was promoted from Polaris’ Director of Traffic and Pricing to VP of Pricing and Market Strategy. She has spearheaded several company-wide initiatives to introduce service efficiencies, fill communication gaps and expand our market reach.
